Flying Eagle Native American Flute

Sold - Exotic Canary Wood Flying Eagle Native American Flute

New Musician Quality Exotic Canary Wood Native American flute, handcrafted by traditional flute maker, Charles Littleleaf, enrolled tribal member of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Central Oregon.

'Canary Wood symbolizes charm, spirituality, creativity, clarity, healing and strength. It is a special wood I very much enjoy working with in my art. As a hardwood flute, it carries a sweet, warm voice, especially with lower toned instruments. Note: Hardwood flutes are notorious for 'watering out' a bit due to moisture build up from ones' warm breath so this Flying Eagle block has a thin base of redwood to help absorb condensation when playing this instrument. This also applies to all other hardwood flutes I make. -Charles'
